Job Description:

James Browne Electrics is seeking a mature-minded and experienced A-Grade Electrician who is focused on customer service and attention to detail, with the ability to work unsupervised.

We have operated within Daylesford and surrounding areas for over 20 years and service a broad range of customer's needs including electrical and telecommunications installations, new connections, service and maintenance across domestic and commercial premises.

We also do solar installations including the design of grid-connect projects, so experience and an interest in the renewables field is desirable.

We require a full-time electrician to meet our increasing and varied projects.

The successful applicant will enjoy a diverse range of jobs and responsibilities working within a friendly and supportive team. Confidence with good communication and decision-making skills is central to our business model. This position would be ideal for an electrician wanting to set themselves up permanently in a country setting. The remuneration includes superannuation, long service leave and a negotiable wage package based on individual experience.

Applicants must have the following:

 Current A-Grade licence
 Current Victorian drivers' licence (manual)
 Construction Industry White Card
 Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
 Knowledge of Industry Standards and Safe Work Practices

The following skills and experience will be considered favourably:
- Solar Installation qualifications and/or experience
- Working at heights
- Ability to obtain a Police Check if required for projects
