About You

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience in the Caravan industry
  • Ideally would suit an electrician with more than 5 years Caravan working experience.

Must be able to completely do the following Electrical Tasks for 12 & 240 Volt on Caravans on your OWN:

  1. Wiring Installation - Rough in 
  2. Fit Off ’s for Interior & external
  3. Troubleshooting 
  4. All  Testing Procedures
  5. Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to meet strict deadlines
  6. Friendly & Calm personality
  7. Capable of reading and understanding electrical drawings
  8. Understanding of current AS/NZ 3001 (Wiring Rules) that apply to caravans
  9. Excellent in communication and writing skills
  10. Able to think in advance to eliminate any problems
  11. Must have a Drivers license & own a reliable motor vehicle 
  12. Capable of ordering material as required.
  13. Installation on the following:
  • Battery Management System- Red Arc, BM Pro & others as required 
  • 3- Way Refrigeration System - Gas, 240 Volt & 12 Volt- Dometic, Thetford & others as required
  • Invertors
  • Solar Systems
  • Brakes Safe 
  • Alko (ESC) Electronic Stability Control Braking system
  • Dexter Sway Control brake system
